Some of the content may resonate with you and some may not – just take from this what helps you. Whilst this has been written by a woman who shares her experiences, the majority of the videos and lessons are applicable to all genders.
About Taste of Recovery
Taste of Recovery is where you should start if this is the beginning of your healing journey with us.
It was originally designed as a three-week course with a daily mini lesson, no longer than 20 minutes. It will guide you through some questions and considerations. You can watch the video, listen to the audio, or read the transcript, and there are workbooks to go through.
You do not need to follow along on a daily basis; all the resources are available to you straight away, and there is no rush as you have access to this content for as long as we can offer it.
The tool is devised into three modules:
- Module 1 – Response
- Module 2 – Rescue
- Module 3 – Resilience
We encourage you to work through the tool at a steady pace. There are five videos per module, so you could watch one video a day, and take the weekend off. Work at a pace that’s right for you. And feel free to dip in and out and take breaks. You’re in control of how you access the learning.
About MindBody Foundations
MindBody Foundations complements Taste of Recovery, by taking five practices and exploring them in more detail.
Each practise is designed to be just about ten minutes, with a worksheet for each. As with Taste of Recovery, you can watch on video, listen on audio, or read the transcript.
The five practices are: Grounding, Breathing, Sleep, Mindfulness, and Music.
Your access won’t run out, the Taste of Recovery Programme and MindBody Foundations are tools that are here for you when you need them.
About the Safe Place Meditation
The Safe Place Meditation is a 15 minute audio that will take you to your safe place and give you a moment of calm. Download to your phone to take it with you always.
About ReConnected, the Secrets to Thriving after Surviving
ReConnected is conceived as a follow-on to Taste of Recovery, when you are ready to move beyond surviving.
Lessons range from around 15-20 minutes to about 30-35 minutes. As with the other programmes, you can watch the video, listen to the audio, or read the transcript.
There are five modules:
- Module 1 – Foundations
- Module 2 – Unlearning
- Module 3 – Connection
- Module 4 – Self Love
- Module 5 – Planning
All the resources are available to you straight away, and there is no rush as you have access to this content for as long as we can offer it.
